Privacy notice

Last updated 28 July 2026

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you contact us or work with us, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

01Who we are

Proxi is a trading name of Emperium International Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 15638524.

Registered office: 32 Weavers Way, London, England, NW1 0XE.

Contact for anything in this notice, including data protection requests: admin@tryproxi.co.

We are the controller for personal data about enquiries, clients, contacts, suppliers and our own business records — that is, we decide what to collect and why.

When we carry out work for a client and that work involves personal data the client has given us — a lead list, an inbox, a set of documents — we normally act as a processor for that data. We handle it under the client's written instructions and a data-processing agreement, and we do not use it for our own purposes. In that case the client is the controller, and their own privacy notice governs how the data subjects' information is used.

03This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, trackers or embeds. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not being asked. You can verify this in your browser's network tab.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and connection details in order to serve the page and protect it from attack, and keeps short-lived logs for that purpose. Your browser may also send Cloudflare a network error report if a request to this site fails.

04Where your information goes

The AI work itself runs on hardware we own and control in London. The prompts, files and documents you send us for work are processed on those machines and are not sent to third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Google or Meta, and are never used to train any model — ours or anyone else's.

The tools we use to talk to you are a different matter, and we would rather be straight about it:

Because we know this is the obvious gap, we keep client material out of those channels: we do not run client work through WhatsApp, and we agree a sensible way to move files at the start of any engagement.

Some of those providers operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad, it is done under the UK's adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, which are the safeguards UK GDPR requires.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except as described here or where the law requires it.

05How long we keep it

06How we use AI on your work

Our services use AI models running on our own hardware to draft, research, summarise and analyse. A person reviews client-facing output before it is delivered. We do not make decisions that produce legal effects about you, or similarly significant effects, by automated means alone.

07Special category and sensitive data

Please do not send us health information, criminal-offence data, or other special-category personal data unless we have agreed in writing beforehand how it will be handled. If you send it to us unprompted, we will tell you, and delete it unless there is a good reason to keep it.

08Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

Email admin@tryproxi.co and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. If your request concerns data we hold as a processor for one of our clients, we will pass it to that client and tell you we have done so, because it is their call to make.

09Complaints

If you think we have handled your personal data badly, tell us first — it is usually the fastest fix. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You do not have to come to us first.

10Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be told to them directly rather than left here to be discovered.
